New install not working

    I installed version 2.0.0

    When I create a group. That group does not appear in the read section of a page or post.

    When I create a new group in the read section of a page it is added to the groups and i am not able to see the page when not logged in.
    But when I login I also get a 404 on that page.

    Hi @temmes,

    You need to be a member of the group to apply the access restriction. Please see https://docs.itthinx.com/document/groups/access-control/posts-and-pages/ for more details.

    Regarding the new group created, when you are logged in and belong to the group, you should be able to access the page instead of the 404. Also if you access to edit it on the Dashboard, you should be able to do that – in both cases, the account used must belong to the group that is used to restrict access.

    I can do this with the updated release without any problems, do you have any caching enabled for logged in users?

    Ok. That was the triigger.

    To be able to add restrictions to a page for a certain group the admin needs to be part of that group.
    So best is set Admin member of ALL groups…
    At least it works now. TNX!
