New install just redirect forever?

    HI, I just installed and configured PMPRO. I was looking forward to starting testing but it already bombed-out upon login. The login page that used to go to the Buddyboss login page simply got redirected to nowhere land and timeout.

    I was very careful to make sure I followed every step in the tutorial video. I noted another thread on redirect problem and thought this latest version 2.3.3 already got this redirect problem fixed. What could be wrong with just a simple setup?

    I use default Buddyboss login before and now it seems PMPRO has taken over but got lost in redirect-land? HELP pls.

    Hi, I found out the problem. My Buddyboss setup is for private network use only: Restrict site access to only logged-in members. So when this param is turned on, PMPRO redirects itself in loops.

    So now pls could you have a workaround for private network pls?

    Also, I noted the default PMPRO login page asks for email address, but it also accepts user name. So this is rather confusing.

    I understand I can customer these PMPRO generated pages by including your shortcodes, but I don’t think I can change the login prompt as per above mentioned. Any suggestion pls?

    Hi @zoeyisyoung

    I’m sorry you are experiencing issues.

    You are able to bypass the login redirect Paid Memberships Pro by removing the [pmpro_login] page and set the login page back to “Use WordPress Default” inside the Paid Memberships Pro Settings area.

    I hope this helps clear things up.
