    Hi, running WordPress 4.5 and just installed this plugin today.

    Really love the idea of this plugin, extremely useful. But, like the two recent posts, I am getting a list of numbers but no citation listed next to them. Here is the HTML being generated on the page:

    <div class="wpb_wrapper">
    			<!-- load from cache -->
    <ol>
    <li></li>
    <li></li>
    <li></li>
    <li></li>
    <li></li>
    </ol>
    <a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=GM103533[gr]">Search PubMed</a>
    </div>

    I have tried making changes (changing default style and adding a new style) and saving in the “Reference Styles” settings page–but it had no effect.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Go to the reference styles tab in the admin panel. Select a style. IMPORTANT: Save changes!!

    One of these days I will fix how it falls over when a style is not loaded…

    Hi, thanks for the quick response.

    Sadly, doing this has no effect. The list elements are still empty.

    Did you try changing to a different style? I’m wondering because there was another ticket earlier this week with the same problem where saving the style worked

    There may also be a problem with something being cached. Try changing the query (you can change it back later).

    Changing the query to something else did the trick. Also worked after I changed it back to the original query.

    Thanks a lot for your help!
