I’ve just done a fresh install on a new dedicated IP address (domain is in use on the old site). When I go in to edit any post or page, the text area is blank and it won’t let me edit or add text, and won’t let me edit the url. I can edit the page/post title and create new pages/posts, but it won’t let me edit or add text to the new ones either. Menus, settings, widgets, etc appear to be working fine.

Turning on debugging in wp-config fixed the problems. It’s turned back off now. Default theme now, though I did have a genesis theme activated with the same problems. No plug-ins have been activated. It’s here: 66.39.151.106

Should I just delete the entire thing and start over with another fresh install?

Deleted everything, created a new database, downloaded wordpress again and uploaded. Got a parse error with wp-admin/includes/plugin.php while re-installing. Re-uploaded that file. Installed.

Had the same problem. Couldn’t edit text or urls on any post or page.

Re-uploaded the entire wp-admin/includes folder and the problem went away. Something must be going awry with my ftp. Just posting my solution in case anyone else has this problem.
