New install but no published pages in dashboard
-
Hi All,
After a successful install of WordPress 3.3.1 and am finding that no published pages (including the “Sample Page” created during install) are showing up in the dashboard. There seems to be plenty of discussion of this problem on the boards, however I’ve yet to find much discussion in regards to a solution. With the amount of discussion there appears to be on this subject I am wondering if I am just not finding the correct thread(s)? Would be very grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction on this issue.
It’s not a show stopper for me at the moment, however it is pretty annoying as I need to know the ID number of each page to be able to edit it by accessing the URL directly. E.g. https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=2&action=edit .
This is a brand new install, so theme is Twenty Eleven with no enabled plugins. I’ve also been monitoring PHP and MySQL logs which to date have not shown anything of interest. Would it be worth enabling the MySQL general query log to see if there is something wrong with the actual query being generated by WordPress? I’d say not as if this were the case it would have suspected this to be picked up by now.
