This is more of an annoyance than a real issue. However, I have noticed on sites that when I upload a new image file everything is done correctly; thumbnails are made, the image is uploaded, I can see it in the administration panel, etc., The one issue is that when I try to view the image in the front end it won’t load. I found that if I set a CHMOD of 755 to the “Uploads” folder and recurse it through all files and folders that the images will now show up in the front-end. The problem is that I have to do this every time I upload new images and it’s growing tiresome.

Does anyone have an inkling of what the issue might be or how to fix it?

    Thanks!
