NEW! icon next to posts since last visit

  • I’ve seen some interest in Alex King’s plugin for ‘since last visit’, but it’s not compatible w/ 2.x Is there any other available plugin that’ll do this?

    I want visitors to see something to identify new posts/ comments since they visited last. I’d appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!!

  • Why do you say it isn’t compatible with 2.x? I was using it with 2.0.x on my site.

    elmsblog, I haven’t come across anything similar.

    Alex, I can usually figure out what’s wrong with what I’m doing or what might be different about my setup that would cause something not to work as designed. But I wasn’t successful in doing that with Since Last Visit. When it’s installed and activated, a header full of script is displayed in the browser window above the actual sight.

    This happened with both my old theme (custom designed) and the one I switched to last week.

    Sorry to hear that… I was using the current available version through WP 2.0.5, just did a little tweaking for WP 2.1, but I don’t know if I’ll release it or not as the install isn’t that easy.

    Alex, let us know if you release it for WP 2.1 as I would love to use this plugin.
