New hosting site, they don’t auto install WP?

  • I have reworked my website hosting aggrement and I have a brand new site waiting to be uploaded with my first WP install and then my website from 1995 updated and tweaked. I just want to start off with Word press working and not spend what little time I have left fixing it. I have attempted to install it and this didn’t go so well. Any suggestions or help from the community?

  • Would help us if we knew what problems or errors you encountered?
    Also since there are so few steps to getting it installed, which steps did you complete successfully and which did you not?
    And what kind of server and hosting company are you using?

    I couldn’t leave my first post without responding back that would be rude. I was so Frustrated with my host provider I ended up going with auto install and domain hosting with GoDaddy. One year of deluxe hosting and already have wordpress, photo gallery, and one last app ADV guestbook all installed up and working. I know as things begin to settle down in my head I will learn i should of, would of, or could of but just seeing the infamous “KUBRICK” default template pop up ready to fill with my tales of terror, life couldn’t be sweeter.

    sorry one other thing, I would love any input on the third party plugins musthaves before I ruin my high on wp life.
