New Host, How Do I Bring Backup Database to New Host and Connecting?

  • I have switched to a new webhost.

    I went in and created a new MySQL database, and need to figure out how to upload my old database.

    I’ve put in the new info on the wp-config.php file, but then the “backup” from my last host, what are those files that should be uploaded anew?

    I apparently got the “backup” to be “imported” but when I go to my blog, I get this error:

    Problem resolved, had to upload files that the FTP continually seemed to overlook. Third time the charm!
