New Gallery Not Showing Propelry

Never mind, I found the problem!

For the sake of those that may come across this, what ended up being wrong?

I have an edited copy of single-maxgallery.php that needed to be copied to the plugin folder. Which is odd because I only ever had to have it in the themes folder before as far as I remember (I could be wrong though).

However, I wish I could mark this post as not resolved now because it worked for about 30 seconds, and now won’t let me add images to my gallery at all.

When I try and add an image I get “There was a problem adding the images to your gallery.”, which then adds the image to the gallery but with a broken image icon instead of the image.
It then duplicates the image in my media library (which it was doing all along, even after the update to the new version).

Oh, and the sidebar and footer are missing again…

Has this issue been resolved?

am looking for a gallery plugin that allows “portrait” oriented photos – am a newbie at wordpress and most plugins are “landscaped”.

@knitting if the sidebar and footer are not showing it is most likely a PHP error from when you were editing single-maxgallery.php

@monbelle the issue should be fixed. Also, you can select portrait, landscape or square when creating a gallery.

It’s working again now. I don’t know why.

I’m still getting all my images duplicated when I add them to a gallery though. If I delete one of the duplications it’s deleting the image from both media library entries. Since I’m trying to create a gallery with 46 images just to start with, it’s causing huge duplications.

We should have a duplicate pointer fix out shortly. Days unless we run into issues during testing. Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the inconvenience. We realize this is an issue and we’re hard at work on it.
