New Galleries showing incorrect shortcodes

For the past several months, each time I add a new gallery, when I go to insert into page, it A-L-W-A-Y-S renders the previous gallery…for example, I created a gallery two weeks ago and the shortcode says gallery “53”. Today a completely different gallery and two weeks later, the new gallery with completely new videos is still rendering shortcode “gallery “53”. The new gallery “54” is not displaying, nor can I change the shortcode to reflect “54”.

Wrote to developer a month ago about this and never heard anything back. In addition.
