New Feature Suggestion – Add Free Gift at When Cart Total Reaches Certain Amount

Hi – first post, bit nervous!

Anyways – I was thinking it’d be a really great upsell tool if there was a way to automatically include a free gift or promo item in the cart after a certain cart total is reached. Things like that can really convince customers to add a little extra in their cart and increase the amount you make per transaction.

What do you all think? Or does an extension like this already exist, and I’m being dense?
