New event shortcode question

    Hi,

    I tied this shortcode to list the new events, but in vain:

    [events per_page=”12″ orderby=”modified”]

    The order seems to be random, however, I would like to see latest added / modified events on the top of the list.

    Please be so kind and let me know, wht is the right shortcode for this.
