    Hello,

    There will be a new EU regulation surrounding online payments, called Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), that will take effect in septembre 2019. At this date, all Stripe payments in the EU that will not apply the regulation will be rejected.

    Do you plan to implement it in your plugin by that time ?

    Hello @lyautey ,

    Thank you for sharing your concern about Direct Stripe.

    I plan to switch from current checkout method to Payment Intents API or the new Checkout that is currently beta. They both implement 3d secure by default which is a method that will be required by default in Europe starting next September. (And allow deeper customization of the modal form ).

    But I can’t promise anything in terms of timing, Direct Stripe is simple project I share on .org repository.
