    HI,

Since the update of the plugin yesterday version 3.0.11 I am getting this error message on catalog and product pages:

Warning: Attempt to read property “ID” on int in /home/customer/www/craftyonline.ie/public_html/wp-content/plugins/facebook-for-woocommerce/facebook-commerce-events-tracker.php on line 186

I have checked the connection settings and they look ok, the ids are there.

    Can you help?

    thanks

  • Hi @bredamcguigan

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are receiving the error message above after updating the plugin to the latest version, correct?

I found a similar thread related to your inquiry here and it was confirmed that these are warning messages produced by the Elementor plugin.

Can you please confirm if you have the Elementor plugin, try to disable it and see if this resolves the issue?

Otherwise, please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this works?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Let us know how it goes!

Hi, I read that post and I seem to have the same conflict with Elementor and your plugin. I have tried turning off elementor and the warning goes but as they said in the other post, the warning is coming from your plugin. Is this not compatible with the latest Elementor plugin?

    thanks

    Hi @bredamcguigan

Thanks for checking the thread related to your issue here.

Yes, you are correct that the warning message is coming from our end. However, as mentioned these are PHP warnings / notices, not errors. They are for developers only and they must not display on your site to begin with. Turning them off was the right move. You can safely ignore them.

Should you wish to report this as a bug, you can do so here: Bug report

    Hope this helps!
