New Episode Posted 3 days ago, still not on iTunes

I found an Apple Podcasts listing for your show here:

That listing is working off of this podcast feed URL:

Which is the default podcast feed created by PowerPress on your website. This feed doesn’t contain your most recent episode.

You can implement the 301 redirect by editing your site’s .htaccess file:

Alternatively, there’s a free plugin called Redirection that makes it very easy to implement these kinds of redirects.

We completed your instructions almost 2 weeks ago now and still have yet to get our 2 most recent podcasts listed on Apple iTunes podcast app.

If you tried editing the .htaccess file or used some other method to create the redirect, try the free Redirection plugin instead. It’s the easiest way to make these kinds of redirects.

I also loaded the default feed URL in a web browser and it’s not redirecting.

When I go to that feed, I get the new feed located here: https://www.naturalhealth365.com/podcasts/feed/podcasts/ – which includes the 2 most recent episodes. You can see that by scrolling down in the RSS code that episode 120 is there. So… regardless of what apple is doing, we have the redirect in place.

That is why I am so confused. Is there somewhere we need to update the apple feed in the plugin??

I just tried this feed URL in two different browsers:
https://www.naturalhealth365.com/feed/podcast

And it didn’t redirect. I guess I might be stuck behind some ISP-level caching. I know the second browser is not one I’ve tried before to load that feed URL.

Another thing you can try is:
1.) Log in to your WordPress site
2.) Go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Feeds tab and copy/paste the new feed URL:
https://www.naturalhealth365.com/podcasts/feed/podcasts/
into the PodcastMirror feed URL field and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page
3.) Clear any site caches, if applicable

Doing that will create another redirect of the default feed URL to the new feed URL.

I see a different issue, you have a custom post type “podcasts” and you are also using the feed slug name “podcasts”, you cannot use the same slug for different purposes, this will confuse WordPress, it will not know if the page is for a feed or if it is for a page. My suggestion is to use “podcasts” for your post type and then come up with a new unique name such as “audio” for the post type podcast feed, then your final URL would be https://www.naturalhealth365.com/podcasts/feed/audio/.
