New Entry ID on updates

  • Not sure how to prevent my updates from creating a new entry ID.

    New entry ID is not selected. Ajax isn’t enabled.

    I use entry ID as the customers unique ID for their order, when an order is updated their original entry is updated but a new entry ID is created. Their updated notification includes a new Entry ID versus their original. I’m trying to prevent my updated entries from creating multiple new entry ID’s for every update.

    Hi RC,

    I am not sure if this is the same issue you are having, but I found that when I updated an entry, I had multiple entries, I had the Partial Entries add-on enabled when I turned it off, I no longer got multiple entries when I updated an entry.

    Just wanted to pass on something I saw and maybe you have the same.
