New Design, help me comment please!!!

Looks pretty dang good in Safari. I wish my pictures looked as good as yours. Very nice!

Care to share how you were able to use your permalinks with the popup comments? Whenever I tried to put the comments up in my nav bar.. I got an sql error. It seemed they had to part of the loop.

Also the previous/next.. when used, either showed the permalink correctly and NOT show the comments at all once I left the index page and hit previous. I’m only using an index.php, header.php and footer.php.

Currnently took the permalink off. It’s almost I have to use one or the other not both. This has been the most frustrating because it worked perfectly in 1.2.

I had used your navigation fix but again, while the navigation worked I couldn’t see the comments other than the main page. What am I missing???

charbyte: If you see your comment link on the main page but not on the single, you are only missing this code.

Save this code in to a php file in your theme directory… such as popup.php, then insert this code into your header replacing your current comments_popup_link command. (Just like you did with navigation fix.)

This will force the popup link to show up on all pages except archive and search pages. I also include the code that force previous, next, and date to show on main and single page as well.

I put the permalinks back like he wanted with /year/titlename. All is working FANTABULOUSLY. Also have your little bonus of previous image working most importantly pointing to the correct post!

woohooo I just importing dh’s blog from MT he is alive and kicking. The only thing I need to do is upgrade again to 1.5.1.2. Not exactly sure how it reverted back to 1.5 as the test blog was up-to-date, but no matter.

I guess I’ll just upgrade mine and his at the same time.

I’m having a few problems with it: archives page isn’t showing up, the “info” and “lens” tags aren’t showing up, and EXIF isn’t working (is it because PhotoShop is stripping the images of the data when I resize them?).

Also, does anyone know what tag I’d need to add to the “comments” template so that any link clicked on in comments box will appear in the main window rather than the pop-up?

Follow my instruction on the download page and the exif, info, and lens should work. Photoshop does not strip the image data no matter what you do with the image.

In order to make the link opens in main window, you need a java script but I do not know how either.

Cant get the info and exif info.. any idea? Help me.. i create the custom field but nothing :S
