• Hi.
Since I think it was version 3.0, there’s a new default page layout named “Theme” in Elementor “Site Settings”.
I wanna know what is this? And what is its difference with the “Default” page layout (which is the WordPress theme’s default design)?
    Thanks.

  • Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us.

The ‘Theme’ page layout inherits its’ design directly from your chosen theme’s page layout as you set it up, unlike canvas and full width which overwrite the layout by either making the layout responsive or removes the header and footer.

Did you have any specific questions about this type of setup? If so, let us know.

    Regards,

    Hi @gilt
    Thank you.
But what is the difference between the “Theme” layout and the “Default” layout?
Because there are 4 layouts: “Default, Theme, Canvas, and Full-width”.
And when we have the “Default” layout, why we should use the “Theme” layout? Why did it add to Elementor?
    Thanks.

    Hello Shayan,

The default layout is coming straight from Elementor.
Regarding the theme layout, it’s coming from the theme installed on your website, and you can use the offered layout.

    Hi

It also lists the layouts from the theme it self. But if set to any of these layouts it does not call the theme templates.

    It seems like a bug
