New Data Sources Database Table

Version 7.0.7 will now install a new database table as part of the plugins core functionality. The table will be named ecsvi_datasources and will manage…well sources of data. So if you see that table and your wondering where the hell it came from, now you know.
This means we’re moving towards allowing .csv files to be used outside of the current designated content folder. Oh and it is pretty much required for .xml import so that the source can be located on other domains, a common practice with XML.
This new feature will not be pressed upon current users too quickly. That means despite this post and the table being installed you won’t get benefits from it for a while. We want to avoid complications by taking small steps. You may see the plugin storing data in the table but the data won’t be used. That will be the first phase.
