Ive seen this problem mentioned a few times but i can seem to find a solution

I created a few test accounts to make some purchases on my store and the customer details are being stored in the ‘User’ section along with Admins rather than the ‘Customer’ section within the WooCommerce menu

Anyone know how i can fix this?

  • Hi @gezzamondo!

I made some purchases tests on my site, and the customers are going to the Customers section under WooCommerce > Customers as intended.

A conflict between WooCommerce and your theme or another plugin you have installed might be occurring and could cause this issue.

To be sure, please perform a full conflict test by temporarily switching your theme back to Storefront, disabling all plugins except WooCommerce, and then try to make some purchase tests with new accounts and see if the issue persists. If that solves it, then re-enable all plugins one-by-one, until you find the one creating the conflict.

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

Let us know how that goes for you!

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Cheers!
