new custom photoblog… thoughts welcome

After working on and off at this for two months, I think my new WordPress photoblog, https://wubbahed.com/blog/, is ready for some more critical eyes to give me some feedback.
Before I list all of the features, I want to say that this entire site was custom built around the idea that one photo equals one blog entry. There are no collections of photos or photo albums within an entry. The only notion of photo albums comes by date or category. This is by design, as the site is meant to be more of a picture-of-the-day kind of thing and not a replacement or alternative for the countless other online photo album packages out there. So keep that in mind when making comments.
Some of the unique features include:
– Option to display thumbs or full images on the category and archive pages.
– CRON job that automatically puts the most recent image into a static location to be used for banner ads, signatures, and other links. e.g.
