Hi sorry i cant post what version of wordpress i’m using but i’ve only updated it recently so i’m pretty sure it’s the latest. Forgive me if this is answered elsewhere but i can t find the situation in FAQs or other posts…

I recently installed your plug in to help prevent brute force attacks. It worked such that the traditional log in page now redirects to an unauthorised login page. and at first the new link did indeed take me to a page in which i could log in. but then the other user couldnt get in using the custom url as it was directing her to the unauthorised login page. I found it strange so logged out and tried using the link again and indeed i was being redirected to the unauthorised log in page as well…So now i dont know how i or she can access the site? Is this an issue of multiple log in’s or something? i have no idea?!

Step 1 if you can’t login is to rename the plugin folder via FTP as per the FAQ.

Hit my contact form on my website with your custom URL and login and I’ll verify, as 3 out of 4 times I’ve asked and tried, I was able to login. Likely a cookie thing.

If that doesn’t work, we can abandon this attempt or I do support it for $25/incident since it’s a free plugin. The other support incidents have all been “user error.” I can get it working properly, as fewer than 0.1% of people experience what you describe.
