new created page content is stripped down

  • hey folks,

    anytime i edit the html content of a page, most of it gets stripped down so only a small part of the whole html code is showing up. 80% just gets deleted when clicking the update button. the html code includes several tables, but the page just accepts one table and deletes everything else inside it. strange!

    any help is appreciated!

  • you have to be VERY careful using the HTML editor and the code you put in…

    try going to options -> writing and uncheck the box that says “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and see if that helps… although you might wind up with an invalid HTML problem… ??
