Viral Marketing Concept Site – Feedback Please

  • Hi. I’m creating a new site for online marketing using the power of Pinterest, Twitter, WordPress and syndication sites. I’ll add Facebook and other features later. I guess the concept falls under Viral marketing and getting more results (Traffic) with less work.

    It starts by creating a Pinterest Board and adding 5 images. Those 5 images get posted on the site with a 100 word description and a H1 keyword title link back to a site of your choice. The post is SEO optimized and gets automatically posted to Twitter/Facebook and gets posted to a syndication site. I’m also going to add a feature so that all members of a group will point traffic back to the group – like a referral mechanism.

    I’m looking for feedback. Is this viable? Would you use it?

    Sure. Doesn’t matter what type of site you have. You get

    – Traffic from Pins and RePins on Pinterest
    – Traffic from backlinks pointing to your blog or any type of site
    – Traffic coming to the featured member’s page (from other members)
    – Traffic to your site from links in the post and in the syndicated posts
    – SEO and backlinks to increase your search index standings
    – Traffic from the Twitter post
    – And more to come

    Sure it’s a new site but if it get’s going, your traffic will increase.

    I’m just asking for feedback at this time.

    But you can also register if you want to get going and help the concept grow but don’t expect a lot traffic right away. It will come later.
