• Hi

I Create a notification to receive emails when a new comment arrives and reaches a user (Editor), I even specify that they do not reach anyone else and it does not respect the option.

The problem is that the emails always reach the Admin and never the editor.

I tried using the button and posting a comment and they didn’t arrive.

I use Post SMPT and it works perfectly, for all system notifications in fact the notifications arrive but to the admin email only.

I tried it in 2 places and the same thing happens, any advice?

Thanks in advance for the help

    Hi @memomx,
    Thanks for your message.

Just to rule something out, can you ensure that your settings matchose found in the ‘New Comment’ section of this support document?

Let me know how you get on.

    Hi @voltronik

Thank you for your response but frankly you took a long time to respond so much that it gave me time to create my own solution to send the notifications to the people I need.

And well, if your document has the solution, let someone else who has time try it. I tried your plugin on 3 sites and I wasted a lot of time and it didn’t work on any of them.

    Thanks

    Hi @memomx,
I’m sorry to hear you feel the support was slow.
I provide free support for the plugin 1-2 times a day from Monday to Friday.
As it was a Bank Holiday weekend where I am, I didn’t get to your message until first thing Tuesday morning.

You may be happy with your custom solution but if I can help you again with Better Notifications for WP in any way, please feel free to let me know and I’ll do my best to help.

    All the best.
