New carrier option requested – Digital Delivery

    Hi,

    I would request you to please also add a customized carrier – Digital Delivery. It would be an appropriate option to identify the shipment falls “Digital” category for both the buyer and the seller.

    In addition, please ensure the tracking information submitted to PayPal will be marked as “virtual goods” whereas no tracking info is required. Please refer to this picture to highlighting the context of my matter – https://i.imgur.com/wYpHQ0p.png

    I’m not familiar with the term Digital Delivery so i don’t quite understand what you’re requesting for here. You can add custom carrier yourself in plugin settings.

    Regarding your second suggestion, which data should be pushed to PayPal transaction in this case?

    Thanks for your prompt response.

    Most of the sellers like me, have a WooCommmerce store plainly to sell digital/virtual goods.

    My suggestion in this scenario is to add a carrier option in your plugin that mentions something like Digital Delivery and it automatically checkmark(??) the “Tracking info not required” selection in the PayPal transaction upon using the said Digital Delivery carrier option as illustrated in my screenshot sent earlier.

    So for those orders, when pushing tracking to PayPal, it only updates order status field https://prnt.sc/pzzale , right?

    Absolutely correct. The plugin only provides us with an option to enter the digits. In the digital delivery scenario, this is not an applicable option and is incorrect.

    It should be having the option to just push the “Tracking info not required” checkmark (??) towards PayPal transaction.
