New buttons do not have styling

Any newly-created button shows fine in Gutenberg editor.
BUT, on site, they appear as just link text (no border, colour, or alignment).

If an old correctly-displaying button is duplicated, the new button just shows as text link. (The source button still shows correctly.)

Anyone experienced this? Getting sense it’s a new gutenberg conflict.

In what seems to be a related issue, alignment (or any formatting) applied to a HEADLINE does not show up on the front end. Displays fine in Gutenberg preview. Nothing in CSS on front end.

SOLVED:
Conflict with a MINIFY script.
