New blog – please review and help with post

  • I just developed my blog site and would like some reviews.

    The site is https://www.bobspeak.com

    I also would like to know why my second post (mainly the picture) stepped on my first post.

    I would also like to know how to display tags in the right sidebar.

    I would like to add my avatar, but don’t know how to do it. I only see prepared avatars with no way to upload my own.

    Oh – I don’t know. I think the colors tone rather nicely.

    To fix the post overlap, try editing style.css and adding clear:both; to:

    .postmetadata {
font-size:9px;
margin:0;
}

    Is your right sidebar widget-capable? If so, try adding the Tag Cloud widget. If not, edit the template file and add wp_tag_cloud()

    There are some custom avatar plugins out there but if you just want to create an avatar for yourself, see gravatar.com

    Thanks – that worked great.

    I went to gravatar.com and created an avatar, but don’t know how/where to get it and then use it.

    I also created a page and the link is on the left sidebar, but I wanted to add a picture to the page (just before the description) but I can’t figure out how to get it there.

    The brown is good, but I think it needs a little more colour to break it up, but I’m sure as you post post pictures and ad other things to your side bars that that may be the thing to do it.
