New block-based usage

    Can you please elaborate more on “If you start using the new block-based widgets system, you will lose all of your widget blocks upon activating our plugin.”?

    It means that if we opened Appearance-Widget page we’re doomed, or we need to create a new widget with the block editor to be doomed? Actually we had an error when we tried to edit and save a widget… are we at risk of loosing all the widget if we activate your plugin?

    UPDATE: We took the risk after backing up the site… it did work perfectly, now we are back to our usual widget management page. Thank you

    Hi Giac,

    As we wrote:

    Important

    If you start using the new block-based widgets system, you will lose all of your widget blocks upon activating our plugin.
    There is no going back, so be sure this is what you want. The former blocks will not reappear if you change your mind and deactivate our plugin.

    If you use our wptools plugin or oficial WordPress classic Widgets plugins will happens the same thing.
