    Hey, I don’t get any error messages. I click on Backup, and it says “backup process is starting”. Then nothing happens.

    No error appears to me. Click on backup but nothing happens

    I just realized I have the same issue since the last update. I get an email that claims it was backed up to my FTP server, but when I go there there are no files. I opened the email and it said this at the top:

    “UpdraftPlus WordPress backup is complete.
    Backup contains: Incomplete
    Latest status: The backup attempt has finished, apparently unsuccessfully”

    That’s all it tells me. I went in and tried a manual backup as well and it looked like it was creating the file for a long time then that was it, same problem and no files.

    Hi,

    To help us find out the cause of the issue, please could you send us a copy of the full backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab. The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    If you click on “Backup Now” button and nothing happens, try temporarily deactivating all other plugins and see if you still get the same issue. It is possible that another plugin is causing the issue.

    @bcrodua I have no log to show. It shows my last successful backup in the “Existing Backups” section as December 10th. I only auto backup my site once a week, so that means the last 3 times it hasn’t worked for me. (Dec 17, 24, 31)

    It’s not showing any backup attempt for the last three weeks, successful or otherwise in that section. So for me, the scheduler kicks in once a week, I get an email saying the backup was made (but with the above error message), and that’s it. It doesn’t save anything anywhere.

    I haven’t changed anything on my site like add new plugins or whatever. I had an issue with your plugin a few months ago where it stopped dumping my backups to Dropbox for the same type of problem. It said it backed up but never sent it. I switched it over to FTP and it was working again, till now.

    Hi,

    Do you see any warning or error message in the “Backup/Restore” tab?

    Can you also update to latest version 1.16.45? See if that helps resolve the issue.

    @bcrodua Unfortunately for me it still didn’t save anything via FTP. This time, however, I do see a log file that I can send you. Please give me your email address so I can send it. I would rather not post it online, thanks.
