    Hi – Love the plugin so far. One issue I can’t seem to solve though: I created a new author box to customize the display, and I set that as the box I want to use under settings. But it’s not updating on the front end and will only show the default box, or any of the default boxes I select. Every box type works when selected via settings except my custom one UNLESS I disable the box and use the custom box shortcode within the post instead. Am I missing something? Thanks!

    I’m not able to replicate your issue. We create custom author boxes and when we select on Setting, it just show fine. Maybe you have cache plugin?

    Hmm. No cache plugins. All other changes populate instantly. It’s just when I select the new author box I created as opposed to the default ones. I’m not noticing any other plugin-related conflicts. This isn’t a premium function? I will try to recreate the issue on another dev site so I can show you – the one I’m on now isn’t one I can add you to in order to check. Thanks!

    Nope, that is not premium function. I tested on free version and still able to see my new created box just fine.

    Sure just let me know if you are able to replicate it on other site

    Hi – yes, I am seeing same issue. I can send you a temporary admin login link to see the issue I’m describing, but I need an email address. I have tried deactivating plugins – same problem persists. I also tried generating the theme template, but that didn’t seem to do anything. If you can get me a support email, I’ll send you the login link & hopefully you can figure out what’s happening. Thank you!

    Sorry, troubleshooting directly in the site is part of premium support for PRO version.

    If you choose to still use the free version, could you please share some screen record or step to replicate this issue in fresh WordPress installation?

    I have created a box called Test Box. You can see how it displays with uppercase author name and box shadow. I set that as the box to use. But it does not display.

    @sarahclose You mentioned if from shortcode it shows fine, can you try create new post and insert the shortcode there? You should see 2 author box (1 from shortcode, 1 from default setting)

    Yes, if I add the shortcode, I then see 2 boxes. The test box and the default box. I only want the test box, and I don’t want to have to put the shortcode in… See here: https://dbtest.fullcyclecreative.com/hello-world/

    The below author box is not from PublishPress Authors. Most likely coming from your theme

    Well, that’s the one that changes when I select any of your other default Author Box types. The only one that doesn’t work is the custom box. And that bio was only entered in using your plugin. And the author selected doesn’t exist on anything but your plugin.

    Did you mentioned that the below box is changing when you select other Author box type?

    That should not be possible because the below Author Box is coming from your theme, and not from PublishPress Authors.

    Our plugin should not be able to interfere it. Please share screen record if you believe thats what happen.
