New API Key Doesn't Work

Did you ever get this to work?

I got the same problem. I tried to follow these instructions, but I couldn’t get it to work. I think my problem is in step 2..

I just got it work. Here is how. In the instruction in Marteens’s post, step 2 says to change the API url. So go the the widget source code, change the occurrence of https://free.worldweaatheronline.com/feed/<something else> and https://www.worldweaatheronline.com/feed/<something else> to https://api.worldweatheronline.com/free/v1/<something else>. It then works.

Files you need to change are : gg_funx_.php and wweather_widget.php

Ok, great thanks! I had only changed the weather_widget.php, so that’s why it didn’t work for me earlier. Now I changed the gg_funx_.php aswell and it works perfectly.

In both gg_funx_.php and weather_widget.php I found two lines with
“https://free.worldweatheronline.com/feed/…&#8221;

and I changed it to

“https://api.worldweatheronline.com/free/v1/…&#8221;

treehousecreations the files are located in your plugin directory. ex. /wordpress/wp-content/plugins/weather-and-weather-forecast-widget/

but i am having this message “Sorry! No actual weather data available!”
