New announcement without refreshing the page

    Hi,

    Is it possible to change the content text of an announcement and the users see the new content without having to refresh the page?

    Please can you explain in a bit more detail what you are wanting. You will be able to change the content of the notification with javascript, without a page refresh.

    Hi Bradvin,

    At the moment I have 1 standard template/announcement bar. We are going to use it everytime there is IT issues, so the users of the site have to be updated as soon as the new text is published. Therefore I would like to eliminate the refreshing element, so that the users are always updated. Is that possible?

    Just to be sure. So it is possible to integrate that?
    Or maybe just some kind of notification to the user of the site? Like a popup on the computer or a sound etc?

    Hi @sheilanana

    This is similar to your other ticket.
    Unfortunately this is outside of the scope of the plugin. You will have to hire a developer to write this custom functionality.

    It is not something that we will build into the plugin
