New adverts not being added to category

    When a user adds an advert and selects a category to add it to, the advert is added to the site but the category is not added.

    After setting up categories in the admin area, are there any other steps to do to enable categories?

    There aren’t any additional steps required to save the category, if it shows in the form and the field which has categories dropdown is named advert_category then it should work.

    BTW. I tried checking the page you linked to but it requires a login, can you make it accessible to anyone so i could do some testing?

    Hi, ok thanks, but you actually do not have advert_category field in the form?

    You do have a field with label Advert Category but this is actually a custom field (named custom_field_21), the data for this field is saved in post meta not in the taxonomies.
