• Hello all,

I am getting ready to release the Accessible SeaBeast Theme (entire site is dedicated to theme support) and was hoping to get a little feedback before actually posting the download. This will be my second theme, with Beast-Blog being the first. This one, however, is much more than a theme. It has a contact form and myriad options and functionality including stats and such, all controlled by a small set of configuration files. I made this so people will have less difficulty modifying their blog and adding all that extra stuff. With this theme, if they follow the instructions, should have a much easier time with management as they will not have to edit the regular theme files.

    Sincerely
    Mike Cherim

Such as? Asking the user to try their best to keep it valid and retain the accessibility features, or something else?

I think OnlyforMen is talking about the “configuration”?
I have to be honest and say that when most themes like this need configuration, it’s kind of discouraging for me.
    I guess I’m just lazy.
I want things the easy way.
But I have to say, this is a nice theme and is definitely worth the time you spend configuring. ??

    I love it. Great theme!

Thanks, La Bella. I agree, config can be a drag, but I figure what you get out it is worth the half hour or so. Plus, with the config one no longer has to edit anything else. No CSS editing, no sidebar editing, adding a feed is now a simple two-step process instead of having to put the link in the head, all that stuff.

Don’t mind me, I’m just seeing the silver lining in my cloud. ??

    *hehe* Definitely Mike.
    No, really though.
    It’s a beautiful theme.

    ??

Dude I love your theme! I have been looking for a fish/fishing theme forever! You rock.

Attention: When I build this theme I didn’t have access to 404.php (I have my own error pages), but I have since gotten access and have updated the file. I also increased the default level of contrast.

The result of this work is Version 1.1. Upgrading? No problem. The download has been updated:
