• New install, no links admin panel.
Installed Links Manager and Link Library plugins, still no admin panel.
I’ve tried reading through all the docs I could find, but cannot find a way to enable the functionality.

This is a site that I’m preparing for our church, which has staff used to using this function for our links. Please help.

    Thanks.

  • So you unzipped the Links Manager into the /wp-content/plugins folder.
Just a silly question: did you next activate the plugin for your wp install? WP Dashboard > Plugins : Link Manager : Activate

Sorry. I should have updated this post a while back.

After looking through everything, and about ready to give up, I contacted the support channel for a theme we had purchased and are using. My goal was to see about replicating the functionality through the theme.
His response was that since it was being depricated, his theme options removed the admin panel link and used the spot for some theme-specific items. Changed that portion, and we’re back in business.
I don’t get why that seemed like a good idea to the developer, but he was quick to respond with how to reverse it, so we’re happy.

All of that said, yes, I had activated the plugin.

    Blessings,

    Bill Fry.
