Very happy to see this new feature in WooCommerce! But I cannot get variable products to import.

What I am trying to do is import a few products with, for example, colour variations – I have an attribute called Colour set up with red, blue and green set as the attributes.

How to I import a new product (eg a T-Shirt) with those three attributes already assigned?

Is there a sample CSV I can have a look at.

    Thanks

There is a sample in the dummy-data directory of WooCommerce. You can also create one in admin and export to see what data is there.

    Hi Mike,
I’m also trying to use the plugin and having a problem with importing *non global* attributes. If the attribute is global it does work.

    Hi Mike

Tried exporting my existing products but it didn’t export the variables – only the parent product.

But the sample CSV is exactly what I was looking for!

I’ve been using a third party plugin for this but it hasn’t been updated for a while and now doesn’t work properly in WooCommerce v3 – just need to change my templates to this new format and all should be good!

    Many thanks!
