    Hello,

When you select a repeating event to “never end” it only creates a few hundred events. I don’t exactly expect it to add an infinite amount of rows, but there doesn’t seem to be a notice saying when the event will run out – am I missing something? I looked all through the settings, and I couldn’t see anything in the documentation about it.

For example I created a daily event to never end, starting today – and it runs out around 2022.

I am using MEC Light Version 5.17.0

    Thanks

    Hello @localgrr,

While it is true that an unlimited number of events can get created there is a hidden cap for it so that the plugin does not occupy most of the space available on your database; that cap is set at 200 repeated events.

You can open the last occurrence on your existing repeat cycle and once you do so, 200 more are added to it thereby extending your event for 2 years (+200).

    Best Regards
