• This came with a theme I’m using a couple years ago. In fact, there are several Foo brand plugins. I don’t even know what they do anymore, it’s been that long. And yet every.single.time I login to my site, I get 3 nag screens, asking me to sign up, rate and review, etc. I always click them off, and yet they always come back. Absolutely a pain in my rear. Why would you write such intrusive software? Do you really need reviews that badly? Why not write software that people WANT to review positively?

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that this is frustrating for you, and we certainly didn’t intend for it to be intrusive. This is why we built in a way to disable the promotions – you can find out more about this here: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/foogallery/troubleshooting-foogallery/disable-foogallery-pro-promotions/
We hope that this will resolve your issue.

We would like to take a moment to explain why we include these promotional notifications. We offer a great free product and we work hard at keeping it up to date and feature-rich. But for us to do this, we need to support our developers and the rest of our small team. If we don’t promote our products, and sell our premium plugins, then we couldn’t offer the free versions of our plugins.
So while we understand that the notices may be frustrating, they are one way for us to build our business, so that we can continue to offer a great free product. We hope that you understand where we are coming from, and we would love for you to review our actual plugin, rather than the promotional messages.
