Never a response

  • I have posted 4-5 questions on these forums.
    I have not received a single response to any of them. Is there a trick to getting help? I am new to WP, and really could use help – I am struggling with problems that a veteran could probably easily answer. Last issue posted an hour+ ago. Many things posted after have several responses. I feel like I am doing something to scare people off, but I do not know what that is.

  • Posting in “plugins and hacks” isn’t likely to get replied to unless you post on the plugin’s specific sub-forum – from the plugin’s page, click on the support tab for that plugin.

    THANK you for responding! The problem is that I tried 2 plugins, but neither did what I wanted. I do not know what plugin/widget will work for me, but I am reasonably sure there is something out there that will – I’ve seen WP sites that have what I want – just can’t remember the site URL.
