Networks for WordPress && Buddypress

Having just taken a quick look at bp-multi-network, I don’t see why not.

To make a long story short, if it works with WP Multi-Network it’ll work with Networks for WordPress, because WP Multi-Network is a fork of Networks.

As for file changes, you’d only have to follow the same instructions as you would for any other Networks plugin.

Let me know if you run into any problems that you think are related to Networks. I’d be happy to help troubleshoot!

FYI Networks for WordPress appears* to work well with bp-multi-network.php.

But I made no adjustments to bb-config.php. ?? (just forgot – but so far it seems to work as expected)

local install wp 3.2.1 bp 1.5.1 not using default theme

using the Bp Group Hierarchy Experimental “Hide Groups List” – it works.

* (limited use- main site + 2 other sites (subdomains) each with a separate network (bp) and each with one other blog )

I don’t really know about the bb-config.php, but I’m tagging bp-multi-network on this so maybe someone with more knowledge of that product can chime in.

@david Dean – Thanks ?? I’ve been working with valuser over the last few days and he has it up and running.

From a usability point of view, it’d actually be a great to maintain a list of plugins known to work or known to cause issues, i.e. whitelist/blacklist. Possibly, in the form of a simple Php array.

This would make it much easier to select plugins that work well.

Given that full and proper “network” support would be essential for _ANY_ plugin on a network install, it’d certainly be valuable information if people provided information on working plugins and those that seem to cause issues so far.

MU/Network compatibility should in fact be an attribute for all WP plugins, that is also checked prior installation.
