    Hi!

I’ve installed a couple of WP 3.01 multisites and found a problem with network plugins.

I’ve did installed via search and install from dashboard. Then “activate for the network”. When I access sites dashboards with super admin I can see all that plugins. But if I enter with site’s admin on each blog plugins are not accesibles. Dashboard does not show it (even it shows the link as Network(5) ) and it does not work on blogs website.

    Do I miss something?

    Regards,
    Colegota

  • Di you enable the Plugin menu itself under Super Admin -> Options?

Hi again. I’m worried about it because I can’t keep working. Need some plugins accessible to blogs.

Any idea of where to investigate?

    Colegota

Well, the issue isn’t with the network activate link – it;s with whatever plguins you installed and activated network-wide. Some need to be visited in the admin area of the extra blogs to turn themselves on. some won;t work that way at all.

None of them will do anything network-wide unless they were specifically coded to do so.

Hum… sorry! I can’t see plugins (at plugins menu) if I’m not super admin but it works.

Just happen a couple import problems with one of the plugins and I’ve related those problems with the fact that I can’t see plugins at plugins admin menu. But I can access it’s own config menus.

So I mark the thread as solved.

no, regualr users cannot see the network activated menu, or the “must use” plugins folder menu.

    Hi Colegota,

Know this thread has been a while, but could you share what you meant by “… but it works … can access it’s own config menus”.

Do you mean although you can’t see the plugin (nor its menu in dashboard), you can still use the plugin? How?

    Best Regards, William

At seven months, this should be closed. The users can get in an USE the plugin but they cannot turn it on or off. This is expected behavior.
