Network Admin Pass changed for one site

    Hey,

    I changed the network admin pass for one of my sites in multisite network.
    Offcourse I forgot this password and i’m not able to login with my network admin in that particular site. (I know i can make a new user etc).

    Anyone know where to find the network admin pass in phpmyadmin for a partical site of a multisite installation?

    I already went under wp_users and changed the admin pass there again but this did not seem to work.

  • Hi, sorry you’re having trouble with this.

    Could you clarify if you need to reset the password for a super admin for the entire network, OR, if you need to reset the password for an admin of an individual site?

    Well the strange thing is I can not login in that particular site anymore with my super admin.

    I tried loging in with a different browser. Instead of chrome I used Safari and now I was able to login.

    Did you check the USER ID in Wp_users table

    That must be 1 for Super Admin

    The problem seems to be resolved by going into phpmyadmin and change the super admin password.
