I run WordPress in network mode with sub-domains turned on.

How do I setup authy so that every site is automatically protected, even sites not created yet, and also that every single user must use authy?

I am basically trying to find the best way to totally lock my site down so that no one but my team can login to the website, and all members of my team can create their own new network sites as they choose to do so.

When I network activate the plugin, there is no settings -> authy screen. I can only see those screens when I go into each individual site on the network. I don’t want to have to do this by hand because, by the off chance, I ever forget to activate authy and configure it when a new network site is created, then all the security provided by authy is out the door.
*It only takes 1 site on the network, not being configured with authy properly, to leave everything wide open.

Wouldn’t it be easiest to simply add in the network “settings -> authy” config page when authy is network activated?

    Hi,

This is possible but it requires changes to the plugin. Send us an e-mail [email protected] and we can talk a bit more about it.

    Hmmm. Interesting.

I run a website which offers campaign websites and site hosting to political candidates seeking election. There are obviously security issues 2FA would help to ameliorate.

How would I set this up best on a multisite network, assuming its compatible, say using plugins-mu folder, so that it cannot be seen by non admins and create at least a low hurdle to it being easily disabled?

So far I have just network activated the plugin.

Also, how would it work in this kind of network configuration where some subdomains of the primary site are domain-mapped to their own domain, and some aren’t?

I am thinking here of the issue where, I assume, each mapped domain would be allocated some free users, as an individual domain, but if the primary domain has to pay for all users on each of the subdomains too, that user limit will be passed very quickly and make it too expensive to install for the host.

I would also be VERY pleased to learn how this can all be managed centrally instead of having to check each subdomain/domain.
