Ok…creative guy here…not an IT guy.

Created a WP site using the Pagelines iBlog Pro 3 template for my job.

After creating, my IT dept is asking if it will work on a .net framework.

It’s greek to me…can anyone answer?

I would assume you just transfer the data (folders and all) over to our home office servers and manage from there.

    Thanks!

  • No.

WordPress is PHP + MySql. It won’t run as a .net application. ( interesting report about a project here though. )

It shouldn’t conflict with .net stuff running on the same server ( at least I’m pretty sure it won’t ) but the server does need to have PHP installed and PHP must be able to connect to a MySql server.

Resolved: Unless someone else has a workaround.

    Thanks
