Nesting Shortcode

Does anyone know where to alter/add custom shortcode? I think I need to add “do_shortcode” to the $content of the [events_list] shortcode.

Specifically I am trying to nest this shortcode [drts-entity display_element=”xxx”] as a replacement for the location number in this events manager code:

[events_list limit=”10″ location=”XX”]#_EVENTDATES: #_EVENTLINK [/events_list]

for your reference here it is nested, which i know does not work, but helps illustrate where I want the nesting to occur.

[events_list limit=”10″ location=”[drts-entity display_element=”xxx”]”]#_EVENTDATES: #_EVENTLINK [/events_list]
