Hi Gerry,
sorry for my late reply, I have a bad cold and took one day off yesterday.
Please apologize, if I write something strange for your feeling, but I started learning WP only 6 month ago… know more or less nothing about programming.
In my custom CSS the only “display: none” I have is:
.tags {display: none;}
and
#comments .avatar { display: none; }
In the stylesheet.css I find following for which I don’t know the effect:
.hide {display: none;}
#comments .pingbacks li.pingback .reply { display:none; }
This I know for what it is (stylesheet), but perhaps causes the problem (I don’t know):
#logo .site-title, #logo .site-description { font-family:arial,serif; color: #fff200; display:none; }
#loopedSlider .slides { min-height:200px; position:absolute; top:0; left:0; display:none; }
.wdqs-inline { display:none !important; }
I checked with Strg+F.
For your question, if this really comes from your plugin, well, I have more removed: (SEO Yoast = negavtive rating “intensive usage of SEO” and unfortunately SlimStat as it’s not clear if it’s in compliance with German law.
Therefore I have new wpSEO, Statify and Cachify (all from Sergej Müller who has complete good recommendation).
And quite new I have Google only Analytics for WordPress. But I can’t imagine that this is the reason.
I just checked the site again, you are right the “Die Seite setzt unsichere Technologien ein” is away now! ??
So one final question remains: why they do write “Parts of the content is invisible.”??
I also have deactivated the plugins from Sergej Müller, but it remains the same.
All the best,
Petra
