Having to upgrade from Caldera Forms.
Conditional logic at Caldera has lots of options. Ninja does not and they don’t work. For instance, if a condition is met you can only hide or show something. And then if that condition is unmet it doesn’t undo hiding or showing that something.
Styling addon at Ninja has lots of confusing tabs and labels. And for some reason on our site nothing we apply to any of the styling options like font size, border color, etc. ever changes anything on the forms.
reCAPTCHA is broken on Ninja for us. An invisible v3 still forces humans to do something with a “required notice,” but there is nothing to click or fill in so you can’t submit the form. If you switch to v2, even invisible mode, sometimes when you load the page you are jumped to the form with an image challenge?
The whole add-on system is wonky. It’s hard or impossible to do add-ons from the plugin. You have to go back to the site, download the zip, install to WP, then activate in the plugin. Maybe we missed something where this is easier like other plugins?
Support feels non-existent or slow. We put in 4 tickets. Nothing but autoresponders.
Glad there is a 14 day period for a refund.
Buying up Caldera was a smart move, but we had no idea transitioning would be so rocky. Hope you respond to support and can improve the experience.
