need two widgets

Don’t know about the scrolling box, but I highly recommend Calendar by Kieran O’Shea.

can the Calendar widget by Kieran O’Shea be placed on a sidebar?

There is no monthly calendar widget, but a Coming Events one. The monthly calendar is placed on a page with a shortcode. Clicking on an Event in the sidebar can link to the calendar, or a page for the event.

I found a rolling sidebar, but have no idea how to translate it to my site. See example at https://anxietyattackreviews.com/new-research-into-alzheimers-genetics
Does anyone know of a rolling display like this and how to plug it in?
